Rookesbury park our first stop for the next 2 nights to get a handle on everything …. well at least give it a go.

We unpacked everything it was like Christmas, we busily found a place for things for now which may change as we go.

We were so grateful for the care packages from Louise and Jamie. Very carefully thought out even to a walkers goodie pack complete with meringues and biscuits. I knew we should have bought that cream at the supermarket.

We were a bit angled down and just a little tentative and unsure about putting the wheels on to the blocks so decided to sleep the opposite way round so the blood wouldn’t go to our heads….

It was a good nights sleep. We feel at last we’re here at the beginning of our adventure… it isn’t what we had originally planned. Europe totally out of the question but enough to see and experience here in the UK… watch this space as we share it with you.
